Of all things Carmen loves his relationship with Jesus Christ most. That relationship bubbles over to his lovely wife Maria, and their six kids; Erica, Christin, Carmen, Melissa, Robert, Shayla and his two Grandsons; Carmen & Benjamin. He loves his role as a husband, a father, and grandfather. The transition to the children of this church is, by Carmen's description; "an absolute blessing, they make my Wednesday and Thursday nights special".

Before engaging Saxonburg and the surrounding areas as our Commissioned Lay Pastor and Youth Pastor, Carmen enjoyed a successful career in administration in the automotive industry where he managed facilities. He enjoyed streamlining operations, helping individual departments work together and simplifying customer processes.  His care for people upheld customers as the main focus, internal or external.  Carmen was known in the Western Pennsylvania area by his colleagues and customers for his passion to get things done and lift up those around him in the complex world of the auto industry.

Carmen heads, among other things, Saxonburg Memorial's Youth Program which represents up to five surrounding school districts.  He ias central to many things in our church and community. He is the FCA charactor coach in our local school district and enjoys his time in and around the different sports activities, concerts, musicals, and the Wednesday morning Bible Study led by the students.

It was in the fall of 1999 that God, through our church, called on Carmen.  It is fortunate for so many that he answered.
